A plain-English description of how this website handles information - written to match what it actually does.
What this website is
This is a static marketing website for Agri Source Trading. It presents our commodities, sourcing focus and contact details, and helps you prepare an enquiry. It is not an online shop, a customer portal or an order-management system, and it does not process payments.
Information you enter in the enquiry form
The enquiry form runs entirely in your browser. When you choose to continue, the site assembles the details you typed into a plain-text message and opens it as a draft in either WhatsApp or your email application. You then review and send that draft.
The details you type into the form are not sent to or stored on a company server by this website, and there is no background submission. If you never choose WhatsApp, email or copy, nothing leaves your device.
What is stored in your browser
Some features remember things on your device only, using your browser’s local storage. None of it is sent anywhere, and none of it is personal data:
- Saved research - a short list of slugs only (for example “cocoa”, or a resource name like “cocoa-buyer-discussion-guide”). No name, company, email, phone or message is stored.
- Quote wizard - if you tick “remember my selections”, only your non-personal choices (commodities, origin, buyer type, topics, quantity/destination/timing) are kept. Your name, email, phone and message are never stored.
- Small preferences - for example, that you dismissed the mobile tip or the install prompt.
You can clear all of this from the Saved research page (“Clear all”), the wizard, or by clearing your browser storage. If storage is unavailable, these features simply work for the current session only.
Offline access (Progressive Web App)
This site can be added to your home screen and can show pages you have already visited when you are offline. To do this, your browser caches public files such as the design, scripts, fonts and pages you view. Cached pages are informational only and never reflect current stock, prices or shipment dates - live availability and any commercial confirmation always require contacting our team. An offline notice makes this clear. You can remove the cache by uninstalling the app or clearing site data, and installing is entirely optional.
Resources and search
Reading or printing a resource happens on your device. Choosing “request this resource” prepares a WhatsApp or email draft asking us to send it - you review and send it. Site search runs entirely in your browser against a small file of our own public content; it does not call any external search service.
External services when you contact us
When you choose to continue in WhatsApp, open Instagram, view our address on a map, or send an email, you are handed off to a third-party service that has its own privacy practices:
- WhatsApp (Meta) - opens a chat draft to our number.
- Email - opens a draft in your own email application.
- Instagram (Meta) - opens our profile.
- Google Maps (Google) - opens a search for our address.
Once you are in one of those services, that provider’s privacy policy applies to your use of it. These are opened only when you deliberately click a link or button.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
By default, this website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not include third-party tracking scripts. Fonts and images are served from the same website rather than a third-party network, so simply viewing a page does not call out to external companies. If analytics is added in future, it is added through a single, clearly-configured adapter, and this page will be updated to describe it and any choices available to you.
If we connect an enquiry system in future
Today, your enquiry is only ever handed to WhatsApp or email as a draft that you send. The site is built so that a genuine, authorised enquiry endpoint could be connected later. If that happens, this page will be updated first to explain exactly what is submitted, where it goes, any consent step, and how success or failure is shown - and the WhatsApp/email/copy options would remain available. No such endpoint is active at the time of writing, and no secret keys are ever placed in the website’s code.
